Originally from San Diego, Kristin Teig draws on her background in painting with her love of food and the celebrations that surround cultural eating. She’s worked in more than a dozen countries on food-related projects, including on cookbooks by Joanne Chang, Hooni Kim, and Giada De Laurentiis. Hailing from Boise, Idaho, Teri Lyn Fisher is now based in Los Angeles where she creates food photography for cookbooks and advertising campaigns. Christina Peters

Christina Peters grew up in Newark, Delaware, and made the move to California in 1989 to study at the Art Center College of Design. She’s been shooting ever since, coordinating over 1150 jobs and regularly conducting workshops at food blogging events, as well as speaking at cooking conferences. Aside from capturing carefully crafted images of plated meals and raw ingredients, she’s established the first food photography membership site called The Food Photography Club.
